Member Auditing

All ASESA contracting members require at least one unannounced audit per year, with the option of selecting a higher frequency such as quarterly or bi-monthly to suit any particular client requirement.  These are arranged via the ASB5 notifications database that HSE provide to ASESA to facilitate this process, 

ASESA utilise a team of in-house and external auditors, with oversight provided by our Audit & Technical committee to ensure our constantly evolving question set remains at the forefront of Industry knowledge.  This evolution of the ASESA question set is driven by our positions on the HSE's Asbestos Network Technical and Licensing Working Groups, where our Chief Executive helps with the development of new industry guidance and gains clarification on discussion points direct from HSE.

All members can utilise the ASESA audit app for their own internal audits as part of their membership.

To assist members in this crucial area, ASESA members can select a higher frequency of audits to help gather robust positive evidence to aid Licence renewal and also ensure they meet the requirements of any client organisation, with many choosing quarterly unannounced audits. In addition, members can also select a particular site as part of your audit strategy so you can be sure all parts of your organisation are performing at the required level.
